Finite State Continues to Expand Executive Team with the Addition of Dynamic EVP of Engineering
In July of 2020, Finite State added strength and expanded the executive team with the addition of Executive Vice President of Engineering, Dave Bortz.

Finite State is once again adding strength and experience to its executive team, this time with the addition of Dave Bortz as the Executive Vice President of Engineering.
Dave is well known as a team player and skilled and empathetic leader. He is joining the Finite State team at a crucial time, as we continue to expand our product features and delve deeply into new technologies. His background in startup organizations and vulnerability and risk management further strengthen the team’s knowledge and experience, and will be invaluable in the days to come.

About Dave Bortz
Dave is an engineering leader experienced in scaling startup engineering organizations and building highly scalable software products. He has over 20 years of software engineering and management experience.
Most recently, Dave was VP of Engineering at Kenna Security, a leading Vulnerability and Risk Management platform, growing the engineering department from 7 to 60 members, and doubling YOY revenue over the course of 5 years. Prior to that, Dave spent time in senior engineering management positions at large and mid-sized organizations, including time at Amazon and Orbitz.
