February 25 2026 — Finite State today announced the appointment of Sharon Hagi as Chief Security Officer (CSO), reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering practical, production-ready security for connected devices at scale.

Sharon brings more than 30 years of experience building and operating security programs across semiconductors, IoT, embedded systems, AI-enabled platforms, and cloud environments. In his role, Sharon will lead Finite State’s Security and Services organization, focusing on execution, customer outcomes, and operational excellence.

Deep product security leadership from silicon to cloud

Sharon is an industry-recognized cybersecurity executive with a rare blend of hands-on technical depth and executive leadership. Most recently, he served as Chief Security Officer at Silicon Labs, where he led global security and product initiatives across semiconductor and IoT platforms used in regulated markets worldwide.

At Silicon Labs, Sharon embedded secure-by-design principles directly into product development and manufacturing processes, enabling secure silicon-to-cloud platforms for IoT and edge AI systems. His leadership helped teams achieve industry-first milestones, including PSA Certified Level 4, while scaling security operations across global semiconductor design and manufacturing environments.

Earlier in his career, Sharon served as Vice President of Security at Ethoca (a Mastercard company), securing large-scale payment and fraud-prevention platforms for thousands of banks and merchants worldwide. He also spent more than a decade at IBM Security, where he advised C-suite leaders across finance, healthcare, defense, and government on cyber resilience, risk management, and large-scale security transformation.

At Finite State, Sharon will focus on expanding customer‑facing services, strengthening the company’s security posture, and advancing the Finite State platform to help customers address embedded software risk, compliance, and product security maturity across the lifecycle.
